Important: Before creating your ActBlue account, it's strongly recommended that you set up a separate campaign email address. This keeps your campaign operations organized and distinct from your personal correspondence.

Step-by-Step Guide: Creating Your ActBlue Account

1. Visit https://www.actblue.com
2. Click the "Get Set Up" button at the top of the page
3. Select "Candidate Start"
4. Fill out all the requested information carefully and double-check for accuracy
5. Submit your request. ActBlue may take up to 2 business days to confirm your account setup

Choosing How You Receive Donations

Once your account is active, you have two options for receiving funds:

• Check by mail from ActBlue
• Direct deposit to your campaign bank account

Both options are valid, and it comes down to personal preference. Just make sure you keep track of every donation, no matter how small. Accurate record-keeping is essential for campaign finance reporting.
