Get Verified to Run Ads

If you want to run paid ads on social or search, you’ll need verification — and it’s not instant.

• Meta/Facebook/Instagram — Apply for political ad verification right away. This process can take three or more weeks and requires identity documents.
• Google Ads — Similar verification process, also plan for three or more weeks. You’ll need to confirm your identity and your political advertiser status.

Why start early? If you wait until you’re ready to launch an ad, you could be stuck in a bureaucratic hold pattern while your opponent is already online.
